This song is very sad. It talk about the daughter walk away from her dad which make him very sad and upset. He feels that his daughter doesn’t love him anymore. Even the sky crying for him. It make me sad when I hear this song. However this is a beautiful that you should try.

I like this song because the lyric is easy to understand. It’ used simple language and I can song when I’m listening. It talks about the happiness from washing the sins. And tell what jesus did and taught to make us happy. Try this song and you will be happy.

Trading Places

Louis Winthorpe III was a really respected senior employee of Duke& Duke, which was owned by the two broker brothers, Randolph and Mortimer Duke. Winthorpe managed their investment bank. He had a huge mansion, a butler, and on top of that he was engaged to marry the Dukes’ grand-niece, Penelope.Then, there was Billie Ray Valentine, a black beggar/con artist from the ghetto, who got arrested after the police busted his act as a Vietnam War cripple. Randolph remarked that Valentine turned to a life of crime because of the environment he was raised in. Mortimer argued by saying he would have turned out the same in whatever environment he grew up in because he was a ‘negro’. So, Randolph made a bet that even their respected employee Winthorpe, if his money, job, possessions, and fiancé were all taken away from him, would also turn to crime. And that if Valentine were put in his place, he would turn out to be an honest and responsible citizen. Mortimer accepted this bet.And so they bailed Valentine out of prison, took him to Winthorpe’s fancy house, and told him it was all his. Valentine wasn’t quite able to believe his luck. Meanwhile, Winthorpe was humiliated after being falsely accused of theft and drug-dealing (a ploy of the Dukes). He was fired from his job, stripped of his money, and barred from his own home. So, he became a destitute. But he was taken in by a good-hearted prostitute named Orphelia.During this time, Valentine was fitting in nicely to the upper class. Like Randolph predicted, he was behaving like a responsible and honest citizen. He even proved to be a genius at their business. People were now eager for whatever advice he had to give them. Mortimer was not at all pleased with the outcome.Winthorpe was not at all fitting in nicely like Valentine. Again, like Randolph predicted, he resorted to crime, showing up at the Dukes’ Christmas party with a loaded gun. Now, it was clear that Randolph had won his bet.Valentine happened to overhear a private conversation between the Duke Brothers. Now that Randolph had won the wager, which was (gasp) one dollar, they were wondering what move they should take next. Mortimer wasn’t sure if he wanted Winthorpe back, but both of them were sure they didn’t want a ‘nigger’ running their family business.After hearing the brothers’ intentions of throwing him back to the streets, Valentine seek out Winthorpe and informed him about the Dukes’ “scientific experiment”. Winthorpe was so incensed that he started loading his rifles to murder them. But Valentine had a better idea: to make rich people miserable was to make them poor. So the two of them teamed up to get their revenge on the Dukes. They found out that the Dukes had been hiring a man called Clarence Beeks in order to corner the entire frozen orange juice market. Valentine, under the pretense as Beeks, gave them false information on the crop report. This made the Dukes misplay the market and bankrupt themselves, while Valentine and Winthorpe used the correct information and got rich.

Prohibition in United States

Prohibition in the United States (1920-1933) was the era during which the United States government outlawed the manufacture, transportation, import, export, and sale of alcoholic beverages. It also includes the prohibition of alcohol by state action at different times, and the social-political movement to secure prohibition. At any time possession of liquor, wine or beer was illegal. Drinking alcohol was never technically illegal, but one who was drinking was liable for prosecution on the grounds that they possessed the alcohol they were drinking.
The prohibition or "dry" movement began in the 1840s, spearheaded by pietistic religious denominations, especially the Methodists. Some successes were registered in the 1850s, including Maine's total ban on the manufacture and sale of liquor, adopted in 1851. However, the movement soon lost strength. It revived in the 1880s, with the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and the Prohibition Party. In 1881, Kansas became the first state to outlaw alcoholic beverages in its Constitution, with Carry Nation gaining noteriety for enforcing the Kansas law with many other states, especially in the South, enacted prohibition, along with many counties.
Prohibition was an important force in state and local politics from the 1840s through the 1930s. The political forces involved were ethnoreligious in character, as demonstrated by numerous historical studies.
Nationwide prohibition was accomplished by means of the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution (ratified January 16, 1919) and the Volstead Act (passed October 28, 1919). Prohibition began on January 16, 1920, when the Eighteenth Amendment went into effect. Federal Prohibition agents (police) were given the task of enforcing the law. Principal impetus for the accomplishment of Prohibition were members of the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, and the Prohibition Party. It was truly a cooperative effort with "progressives" making up a substantial portion of both major political parties.

The wizard of Oz

Dorothy lives on a farm in Kansas until a cyclone arrives, and picks her, her house, and her dog up and deposits them in the land of Oz. Things in Oz are strange and beautiful, but Dorothy just wants to get back home. In order to get home, she has to ask the wizard of Oz. She’s in trouble with the Wicked Witch of the West, who seeks revenge for the death of the Wicked Witch of the East. She’s helped by the Good witch of the North and get home safely.
Dorothy is a very kind girl. She loves to sing a song. She hates unfairness and loves to help other. As seen in the story that she invites those who have problems to come with her to ask the wizard of Oz for help. She has a very brave heart and never gives up.

It's a wonderful life

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all. As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence. Clarence then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years.
George Bailey, a nice normal man. He's not perfect and that's pretty much essential to the film's success because Bailey could be *any* man. The lesson of the movie is fairly simple - we all have our role to play in the world and we are all important. Bailey consistently denies himself to allow others to live as he sacrifices his life to make sure people can have enough money to avoid having to sell-their-soul in debt to the evil H. Potter His complete and utter humility is great - he doesn't see how much he accomplished until his guardian angel Clarence shows him. George Bailey teaches us so lessons throughout the film and in the end he teaches us the most important lesson of all, that life, although a long and winding road, truly is wonderful...

Seabiscuit

This story took place in an era when Americans were in great need of heroic figures to help them forget their troubles. Seabiscuit is the real story of Red Palard. The picture relates a moving story of friendship and devotion in rehabilitant the main characters’ fractured lives.

Charles Howard became a rich man from selling cars. After his son death, his wife left him. He was very sad until he found Seabiscuit.

Red came from a rich family but after economic crisis, his parent send him to stay with other. He was a jockey who never win, same as Seabiscuit. He was a small horse and had no quality to be a race horse.
One day, Tom Smith, a horse trainer found them and see something the same in Red and Seabiscuit. He trains them until they can race. They are supported by Howard. Red never give up even when his leg broken. At the same time Seabiscuit has the problem with his leg and can race anymore. Later Red and Seabiscuit can win every race and become the great. They believe that Seabiscuit fixed them, every one of them.

American Outlaws

This story tells about an outlaw, Jesse James. After, Jesse and his brother, Frank came back from the war. Their house was burn down which cause their mother died because they refuse to sell the firm to the army. In that period, there’s a railroad construction from East to West therefore the army try to buy the land from farmers in very cheap price. Jesse and Frank were very angry. So they began to revenge for their mother and their land. James brothers and their friends started robbing the banks under the name “James-Younger gang”. The money that they stole was the budget for railroad construction because they think that railroad comes to steal their land. They give money to church, farmers and build school. At the end of the story, Jesse quit robbing and married with Zee. They start their new life in Tennessee.

The main character (Jesse James) is very brave and tough. He can fight with more than ten guys against him only. Once he was in the serious situation, he’s never scared and can handle it easily. There’s nothing in the world can scare him. He has sense of humor and he really loves his family and friends.

For me, this is one of my favorite movies. The story makes me alert all the time. If you have time, I recommend you to see “American Outlaws”. You will love Jesse James. Trust me…

A bridge too far

This movie is about World War 2. It tells the story of operation Market Garden. The allies tried to secure three birdges in Holland which allow access over the Rhine into Germany. Finally the operation, the bridge in Arnhem over Rhine was doomed to failure. The movie shows a failed attempt by the allies in the latter stages of world war 2 to end the war quickly by securing the bridges in Holland.

Actually, war movie is not my favorite one. If i have to choose one movie, war movie is my last choice. After i have seen this movie, i found that it's not that bad. i can learn many things from the movie. the events are mostly based on the true story that have been occured in the past. So if you are interested in world war 2 history, "a bridge too far" is recommended to you.
